Howell Taylor

Howell Lee Taylor, age 89, died Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Waldrop and Reverend Mack King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
He was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy and brother who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, N. Howell and Bessie Lee Flowers Taylor, brothers, Seth, Pasco, Wendell, John, and Jack Taylor and sister, Sarah Taylor Griswold.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edna Bragg Taylor, daughter and her husband , Patsy and Billy Jinright of Troy, son and his wife, Charles and Mary Taylor of Brundidge, three grandchildren, Cammie Taylor (Bradley) Loving of Troy, Lee (Jenni) Jinright of Lexington, Ky., Dedie Taylor(Mike) McCraw of Birmingham, Six great grandchildren,
Madison and Myles Loving, Hayden and Emma Jinright, Erin and Slade McCraw, three sisters, Addie Bean Murphy of Troy, Lorelle Jones of Montgomery, Sue (Harold) Gibson of Troy, and a brother, Paul (Jeanette) Taylor of Lawrenceville, Ga., and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Taylor was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years.
He dearly loved his church and church family. He retired after 23 years with Northrop Worldwide Aircraft Services, Inc. at Fort Rucker.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Jinright, Mike McCraw, Bradley Loving, Rendy Taylor, Brent Taylor and Steve Taylor.
The deacons of Bethlehem Baptist church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church or the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
