Troy Police continue the search for two suspects after a local home was invaded earlier this week.
Two others have been apprehended and face charges for the incident.
Anthony James Kendrick and Terrance Terrell Guice, both 21 of Troy, have been charged with two counts of robbery first degree and one count of burglary first degree for allegedly breaking into an apartment late Wednesday night and robbing it armed, said Troy Police Chief Anthony Everage.
Everage said around 11:30 p.m. at the Grove Apartments on Academy Street, four black males were alleged to have kicked in the door to the apartment, enter it armed with handguns and rob two victims.
“The victims heard a loud noise that sounded like the front door being kicked in,” Everage said. “Four black males entered the bedroom, all armed with handguns. The suspects took property from both victims and left the scene.”
Everage would not say specifically what was taken from the residence, but what was stolen consisted of computer, electronics and gaming-type property.
Kendrick and Guice were found within minutes after the incident near a wooded area a short distance from the crime scene and apprehended by Troy Police officers.
They were detained at the Troy Police Department pending the burglary and robbery investigations.
Once investigation was complete, the two suspects were charged and placed in the Troy City Jail.
They have been taken to the Pike County Jail, where their bond was set at $130,000 each, $100,000 for the robbery charges and $30,000 for the burglary charge.
Everage would not comment on specific details of the crimes since it remains under investigation and two other suspects have not been arrested.
There is no physical description for release of these suspects, but they are black males.
Some of the victims’ property and a handgun were recovered near the scene.
