Another four-story apartment complex is on the way, this time to South Brundidge Street.
The Troy Board of Adjustments approved a height and uses variance to the proposal, which was presented by Walt Stell on behalf of Sam Johnston.
The proposed complex will be located on the southeast corner of Central and South Brundidge Streets, with the first of the four stories serving as commercial and office property.
The next three stories will be taken up by the apartments.
“With the new widening of South Brundidge Street coming, we feel like this will be a good thing for the community,” Stell said. “The mayor has reviewed this plan, and he also feels like it fits with the new community plan.”
Stell said the complex will have the required two parking spots per unit, but also said he is unsure how many units will be on site at this time.
The apartments will be a mixture of two and four-bedroom units.
In other action, the board also approved the request of Mary Lois Andrews to remove a wood frame home on her property at 616 Wiley Street, and replace it with a 16-foot by 80-foot mobile home.
