Ms. Mildred Spivey Livingston, age 87, of Brundidge, AL., died Monday, July 30, 2012, at her home. Funeral services for Ms. Livingston will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Lowery and Greg Wilkins officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Brundidge, AL.

Ms. Livingston was born and raised in Pike County and was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Rastus Livingston. Ms. Livingston is survived by her daughter, Peggy Wilkins (Roger), one son, Thomas L. Livingston (Nancy), one brother-in-law, James Livingston, four sisters-in-law; Lauree Livingston (Joe), Helen Livingston, Lois Spivey and Elloise Livingston, two grandchildren; Greg Wilkins (Kathy) and Kerry Hargarten; and three great-grandchildren; Seth Wilkins, Spencer Hargarten and William Freeman. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
