James Terry Shipman, Age 48 , of Troy , died Monday July 5, 2010 in Troy. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Bush Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Reid Ward, Reverend Heath Kahlbau and Reverend James Pitts officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pea River Cemetery in Clio. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. There will be a one hour lie in state prior to the service at Bush Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 5 until 7 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Survivors include, Wife, Linna Shipman of Troy, Children, Billy Shipman, Nathan Shipman, and Honor Shipman all of Troy, Parents, James and Rebecca Shipman of Troy, Nephew, Alex Shipman and a Niece, Jessica Shipman of Troy. Mr. Shipman was preceded in death by a brother Keith Shipman.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Anthony Kersey, Patrick Harris, Jose` Pizarro , Mark Howard, Ellis Bush Jr. and Mike Davis . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
