There are very few times when a player single-handedly outscores an opposing team.
One of those times took place last Friday night, at Pike County.
In his team’s Homecoming game against Dale County, senior quarterback Jerelle Bailey dominated from beginning to end, leading his team to a 27-14 win and finishing with 421 total yards of offense and combined for four touchdowns.
As a whole PCHS finished with just 444 yards of offense.
The signal-caller ran for 259 yards on 27 carries with three rushing touchdowns and completed 10 of his 15 passes for 162 yards and a score.
The offensive outburst helped keep the Bulldogs perfect, as the team improved to 3-0 on the season.
