Harold Tillery

Mr. Harold Tillery of Goshen, AL. died Friday, October 1, 2010 at his residence.

He was 57. Funeral services for Harold Tillery was held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 4, 2010 at Skeen Funeral Home of Troy with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Mr. Tillery lay in state at the chapel 1 hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Antioch Church of Christ Shellhorn Cemetery, with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation was held Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 6-8 pm at the chapel. Mr. Tillery was born January 13, 1953 in Troy, Al., son of the late Albert Morgan and Mamie Kilpatrick Tillery. He is survived by his wife: Joan Little Tillery, Troy; 3 children: Roy Harold Tillery, Jr., Ga; Tammy Lynn Tillery and Tony Brown, both of Troy; 5 grandchildren: Jason Tillery and his fiancé, Brandi McClendon, Goshen; Jonathan Tillery, Jada Tillery, Kasey (Job) Bowers, and Kevin Brown, all of Troy; 5 great-grandchildren: Lexie and Lance Tillery, Goshen; Reese Tillery, Banks; Kaylee Bowers and Brycen McDonald both of Troy; 4 sisters: Nell Rugg, Sylvester, Ga; Raynell Harrold, Talladega, Al; Margaret Ann McMillian, Brundidge, Al; and Mary Ann Faircloth, Eufaula, AL; a brother: Harold Wayne Tillery, Troy; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers, Roy Gaston Tillery and Johnny Franklin Tillery, a sister, Patricia Ann Tillery, and 1 granddaughter, Nicole Tillery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35213. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Tillery, Jonathan Tillery, Kevin Brown, Danny McDonald, Wayne Duncan, and Joseph Freeman.
