Mr. and Mrs. Carlos and Lidya Garcia of Goshen announce the renewing of vows of their daughter, Martha Ines Garcia-Sanders, to Vester Drake Sanders, son of Wanda Leverett Tidwell of Banks and the late Tony Lynn Sanders of Goshen.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Plantation High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She is a self-employed nanny. She is the granddaughter of the late Carlos Garcia and Beatriz Gonzales of Bogota, Colombia, and Juan and Margarita Torres of Bogota.

The groom attended Goshen High School and is employed by the Department of Transportation in Troy. He served with the 900th Maintenance Company in Brundidge in Afghanistan in 2010 and 2011.

He is the grandson of Kay R. Leverett of Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis T. Sanders of Goshen. He is the great-grandson of Evelyn R. Renfroe and the late Vester Jerome (J.P.) Renfroe of Banks and the late Herschel and Eleanor Sanders of Goshen.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. Martin Catholic Church (725 Elba Highway) in Troy. The reception will follow at Lake Simmie in Brundidge.

No invitations are being sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
