Pike County Probate Judge Wes Allen is hosting a Faith and Freedom Rally on Monday, Oct. 29.
The rally will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on the Square in Downtown Troy and will features special Guests Alabama Supreme Court Judge Roy Moore and U.S. Rep. Martha Roby (R-Ala.)
“There is great concern for our country,” Allen said. “The values and principles that have made our country great are under attack. Washington is out of control. We want to stand up for our values and emphasize what still matters here in Pike County, like faith and freedom.”
Allen said he hopes the speakers will share their commitment to core values. In addition to the speakers, the rally will feature a time for public prayer and music by Sheila Jackson and Michael O’Hara. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided.
“This event is an opportunity for the community to gather to pray and celebrate our founding principles, because the only way we are going to be able to change the direction of this nation is through prayer and by working right here in Pike County,” Allen said.
