Rebels clip Eagles

The Goshen Eagles may have crossed into positive yardage in their 34-0 loss on the road at Reeltown, but the stat folks didn’t want to stick around long enough to tally the stats up.
The Eagles dropped to 2-1 in area play, in a game decidedly controlled by the Reeltown Rebels, who drew blood just minutes into the first quarter and stymied the Eagles of offense for the rest of the night.
The lightening delay stopped play just a minute into the second quarter for more then an hour, but further knocking the eagles of their pace.
The Eagles led by quarterback Jerome Lawrence finally mounted a drive moving the ball 49 yards, however failed to find pay dirt from inside the Rebels’ 10-yard line.
The Eagles will play host to Pike County next Friday night at 7 p.m.
