Troy University Police have arrested a 21-year-old university student in connection with an armed robbery on campus Feb. 4.

Police are withholding the student’s name, pending further investigation, according to Troy University Police Chief John McCall.

Tuesday’s arrest of the 21-year-old is the second in the case where a university student said he was robbed by three black males near Alumni Hall about 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 4.

A 14-year-old was arrested late last week with the help of the Troy Police Department. Because of his age, police have not released his name.

Both suspects were charged with first-degree robbery. The 14-year old was taken to the city’s Juvenile Detention Center at the Troy City Jail and the 21-year-old is being held on a $60,000 bond in the Pike County Jail.

The robbers took a cell phone, debit card and small amount of cash from the victim.

Police are still looking for the third suspect.
