More bad news for Troy this week as head coach Larry Blakeney has suspended freshman defensive back Shaq Beverly indefinitely for a violation of team rules in a one paragraph release from the athletics department.

No comments were made by Blakeney or Beverly about the suspension.

Beverly came to Troy from First Coast High School in Jacksonville, Fl. He has played in five games recording three tackles.

The announcement comes on the heels of center Kyle Wilborn being suspended for the first half against FIU. HERE is the article about Wilborn’s suspension.
