CHHS tops Eufaula, PLAS loses two

The Charles Henderson Trojans traveled to Eufuala on Thursday afternoon and upended the 5A Tigers, 13-7.
Olivia Hudson went 4-5 at the plate, including a big three-run homer.
Trojan head coach Robin Snyder also said senior Becca Hartley made several key plays on defense to go along with a 2-4 day at the plate.
The Pike Liberal Arts Lady Patriots stumbled on road at Gleenwood in Phenix City. Pike dropped both ends of a double header 9-1 and 8-2.
The lone bright spot for the Pats was Kayla Benton. Benton hit a home run in the games.
Pike will return home on Monday to open the AISA playoffs against Lee-Scott Academy.
First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
