Troy’s Danny Collins and Tanner Hicks earned Sun Belt Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, respectively, on Monday.

Collins was nothing short of solid at the plate for the Trojans batting at a .455 clip with a home run, seven RBIs and eight runs scored.

Monday marks the third time Collins has been named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week this season.

On the season, Collins is batting .399 with nine home runs and 55 RBIs.

Hicks improved to 5-2 on the season after earning a complete-game victory on Friday versus Arkansas-Little Rock. Hicks allowed just one run on four hits and struck out nine in the 2-1 Troy win.
