Troy Police arrested two people Wednesday night for manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine.

According to Troy Police, Jeffrey S. Heinse, 38, and Tinell Deanne Harrison, 25, both of Troy, were taken into custody for the felony charges.

Officers stopped a red GMC pick-up on Franklin Drive near Forrest Avenue that was believed to be involved in a domestic dispute call. While on scene with the truck, a TPD K-9 alerted officers to the presence of illegal narcotics, police reported.

Officers discovered several one-pot methamphetamine cooks known as “shake and bake” and several bottles of bi-layer liquid known to contain methamphetamine.

A Troy Police Department Narcotics Investigator responded to the scene and processed meth labs and supplies known to be used in the manufacturing of the substance.

Formal charges for Heinse and Harrison were first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance and trafficking methamphetamine. They were both transported to the Pike County Jail on $100,000 bonds.
