Murphy, Laymon Mathew (Math), 46, a resident of Stills Crossroads community, was killed in an automobile accident early morning Sunday, August 18, 2013.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 945 County Road 12 off Bullock County Road 15, with Rev. Calvin Faircloth and Rusty Earles officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

Math was preceded in death by his father, Laymon Knox (Doot) Murphy. He is survived by his mother, Martha Jean Murphy; brothers, James Knox (Jamie) Murphy of Stills X Roads community and Joseph Lafayette (Joey) Murphy of Millbrook, AL; grandmother, Lula Mae Renfroe of Union Springs; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Roger Hubbard, Daren Hooks, Trent Renfroe, Will Hubbard, Justin Murphy, Dustin Earles.

The family will receive friends at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013.
