Neil Blanton Smith, age 58, of Troy, died Monday, September 9, 2013. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Northside Baptist Church in Troy. Graveside services will be Monday, September 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Herschel Smith and Hildred B. Smith; brother, Lance Smith and daughter, Jennifer Lorraine Smith. He is survived by his siblings: Rosalyn Baughn and David Smith, his sons: Jeremy Neil Smith, Neil Blanton Smith Jr. and Keith Blanton Smith, granddaughter, Lena Raine; nieces, Lorri Edwards and Shannon Smith Reaves and nephew, Chris Smith.
