Duva W. Carter, age 92 formerly of Brundidge, Alabama and most recently a resident of Ramer, Alabama passed away March 1, 2014 . Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Minister George Merritt of Ariton Church of Christ and Minister Danny Rollin of Ramer Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard RC Carter, parents, S.F. Wilson and Jessie Lee Wilson. She is survived by her three daughters, Eunice Floyd of Troy, Shellie Adams (Ben) of Pace Florida, Nellyne Weston (Ben) of Ramer , and Step-son, Richard C. Carter (Karen) of Auburn, Grandchildren, Teresa DiMisa (Steven), Keith Weston(Rebecca), Brian Adams (Jacki), Amanda Kelley (Tony), Terry Henry (Brian), Grant Carter (Amanda), Heath Carter (Meggie), Kristen Carter Meadows (Randall), Great Grandchildren, Heather Davis, Lindsey Davis Crowley, Ashley Weston, Ben Adams, Tessa Adams, Wyatt Powell, Carson Powell, Austin Kelley, Jakob Kelley, Ellis Carter, Morgan Carter, Charlie Carter, Carter Mae Meadows Whitney Moore and Casey Moore. Also survived by a brother Sam Wilson, Sisters, Frankie Sawyer and Nell Dunavant and several nieces and nephews. Duva Wilson Carter was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend.She loved all of her church family in both Ariton and Ramer. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Weston, Brian Adams, Brian Henry, Grant Carter, Heath Carter and Randall Meadows. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Norman, Knox Norman, Shan Norman Steve Carter, Ted Turnipseed and Ravon Graham.
