Pull out your dancing shoes. The first of this season’s Brown Bag Concert Series will take place Friday at the Square in Downtown Troy and line dancing is the theme. DJ Handoc will provide the music and entertainment.
“It’ll be a variety of music from today’s hits to country,” said Isaiah Scott, an administrative assistant for Troy’s Public Relations and Tourism Office.
Free lunches will be provided. Scott said the menu has not been confirmed yet.
“But that’s part of the fun. You never know what you’ll get in that brown bag.”
In honor of Child Abuse Month, the Brown Bag Concert Series will be presented in conjunction with the Child Advocacy Center.
The one-hour event starts at noon and will be rescheduled if rained out.
The Brown Bag series is presented by the City of Troy Public Relations and Tourism Department and will continue through July, resuming in the Fall. For more information, call (334) 670-2283.
