Safety will be the focus of Wednesday’s Female Factor. Held at the Studio downtown, the free luncheon covers a new topic related to women each month.
Dianna Lee, one of the organizers of the event, said guest speakers would share summer safety tips to help protect families during outdoor activities.
“Because kids are out of school, they’re involved in all kinds of activities during the summer,” Lee said. “We thought it was a very timely topic.”
Visitors from Troy Parks and Recreation will share safety tips, demonstrate CPR and provide a list of summer activities scheduled throughout the county.
“Safety is always important and always good to consider when you’re out and about,” Lee said. “Everyone will go home with safety tips.”
