The staff of First Baptist Mother’s Day Out launched balloons Thursday morning in honor of Lauren Strickland, who worked at the day care, who died in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday. Donations to the family of Strickland can be made at First Baptist Church of Troy at 200 West College Street. The staff wrote a message on the sidewalk of the playground in honor of Strickland.
