Vernell Courson, age 85, a resident of Goshen, AL died Monday, April 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 3:00 pm form the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Chad Teal and Reverend W.O. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She is survived by her children, Judy Hancock Peters (Don) and Louie D. Courson.

Mrs. Courson was preceded in death by her husband Louie Courson and son Micah Courson.
