Carroll, Carolyn Howard, 87, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 10, 2015.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00pm.  Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Carolyn was a true Southern Lady.  She never met a stranger and made a positive impact on the lives of everyone she knew.  Carolyn will be greatly missed by all that knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron Howard and Virgie Merrell; husband, Harvill Sellers Carter, Sr.; and brother, William B. Howard.  She is survived by daughter, Joyce A. Pennington (Al); son, Harv S. Carter (Karen); daughter, Reba Case; grandchildren, Lisa P. Sanor (Jon), Diane Kucenski (Tony), Marcus W. Hinton (Tracilyn), Robert N. Hinton (Jessica), Tracy Hinton (Christie), Allan L. Pennington, Jr. (Courtney), Stephen C. Carter (Victoria), Jonathan S. Carter, Mathew C. Carter (Kathryn), Kathryn C. Smith, Savannah Crowder (Zack), Megan Case, Payton Case; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be friends of Bill W.
