Jerry Dennis Chancellor, age 74, a resident of Troy, Alabama departed this life Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Noland Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at Zion Chapel Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ben Amlong, Rev. Cary Maulden and Dr. Shannon Moses officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Hayes Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Mr. Chancellor was preceded in death by his parents Agnes and Clemmie Chancellor; a daughter Denise Schrieber, and a brother Buck Chancellor.

Surviving Family Members include his wife, Margie Nell Chancellor of Troy, AL; son, Dewayne (Beth) Chancellor of Troy; daughter, Wendy (Shannon) Moses of Excel, AL; son-in-law, Sonny Schrieber of Troy; granddaughters, Brooke Bryan, Paige Chancellor, Anna Schrieber all of Troy, Harlee Moses and Adelyn Moses of Excel, AL; grandsons, Zack Chancellor of Troy, Hamilton Moses and Avery Moses of Excel; step grandsons,  Louis Schieber and John William Schieber both of Troy. Other survivors are his sister, Sue (Robert) Russell of Griffin, GA, Dot (Johnny) Sanders of Dothan, AL, Mary (Mike) Lacey, Pensacola, FL and Trish Westbrook of Dothan.

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Chancellor family.
