Macon, Georgia – Elizabeth Ann Mock, 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 15, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and immediately following. Private Interment will be Friday, August 21, 2015 in Ebenezer Church Cemetery located in Troy, Alabama.
Mrs. Mock was born on September 3, 1938, in Troy, Alabama to the late Elmer Augustus Dunn and Emma Blanche Williamson Dunn. She was of the Jehovah Witness faith. Ann’s sweet spirit and kind smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a fabulous homemaker, and loved her family passionately. Ann loved to shop and adored her baby girl cats, Maggie and Stockings. She was preceded in death by husbands, Clyde Wilbur Dunlap and Clarence Saxton Mock.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Pam Rucker, Fort Valley; Robert Lyons, Athens; Mike Dunlap, Georgia “G.G.” Meadows, Elizabeth “Tab” Granger, all of Macon; David Dunlap, Wilson, North Carolina; step daughter, Jennifer Gay, Macon; siblings, Tony Dunn, Sue McCraney, Willie Dunn, Charlotte Lasseter, and Rachel Baker; uncle, Billy Williamson, Troy, Alabama; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; a host of extended family members and friends.
