Jeanette Bircheat Waldrop

Jeanette Bircheat Waldrop, age 80, of Brundidge died Friday, April 29, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. Jeanette was born March 12, 1936 to the late Harvey Monroe and Oma Lee Lawson Bircheat in Fayette County, Alabama. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Harvey Monroe and Luall Bircheat, brother, Ralph Bircheat, sister, Betty Jenkins, sister in law and Brother in law, Nelda and Charles Campbell and her half brother Edsel Archer.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Dwayne Norman officiating. Following the service Green Hills horse drawn carriage will take Jeanette to her graveside for her final service. Visitation will be held Sunday May 1, 2016 from 4-6 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Lurd Waldrop of Brundidge, daughter and son in law, Shelby Ellen (Harry) Pierce of Montgomery, son and daughter in law, Roger W. (Janice M.) Waldrop of Troy, grandchildren, Wallace M. Sadler III,(Amy), Joshua W. Waldrop (Kimberly), Jared A. Waldrop (Stacy), great grandchildren, Avery Sadler, Aubrey Sadler, Carter Waldrop, Eden Waldrop, brothers and sisters in law, Daniel (Mary) Bircheat, Charles Bircheat and Mitchell Bircheat, sister, Linda Bircheat, sister in law and brother in law, Wanda and Bill James, sisters in law, Alice Bircheat and Sherry Bircheat.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wallace Sadler, Josh Waldrop, Jared Waldrop, Clint Bircheat, Mark Campbell and Mendel Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be the Women’s Sunday School Class of Bush Memorial Baptist Church.
