Pike County competes at state track and field meet

- submitted Photo/stephanie nelson The Pike County Track team was in action at the State Track Meet at Cullman High School on May 6-7. Jayla Lampley finished in third place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.86. She also competed in the 200 meter dash where she finished in 6th place with a time of 27.07. Endia Brown finished in 9th place in the 300 meter hurdles and Cory Batie finished in second place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11:05 and third place in the 200 meter dash. As a team, the Bulldogs finished in 8th place in the boys division and 15th in the girls division.
