Alan Lamar Adams, age 62, a resident of Troy died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Dwayne Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the funeral home.

He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Adams; one son, Chris Adams; ex-wife and lifelong friend, Dawn Wilkes Adams and many other close relatives.
