CHHS Lady Trojans season done

The Charles Henderson Lady Trojans took part in the AHSAA Class 5A, Area 3 tournament in Eufaula Tuesday.

No. 3 seed CHHS lost the first game 15-0 to No. 2 Rehobeth. The Lady Trojans beat Carroll 12-10 in an elimination game, but lost to Eufaula 10-5 to end their season.

Head coach Steve Haug could not be reached for comment.

Pike County softball concludes season

The Pike County Lady Bulldogs lost two straight in the AHSAA Class 3A, Area 4 tournament Tuesday in Headland.

The No. 4 seeded Lady ‘Dawgs lost 15-0 in three innings to No. 1 Headland and 18-0 in three innings to Dale County to end their season.
