Joe Carl Greene, 67, of Troy, died Monday, September 3, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Father Curtis Kennington officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Magrath Greene; siblings, Louise Henn (Andy), William Greene (Anita), sister-in-law, Christi Magrath; mother-in-law, Lorraine Magrath; brother-in-law, Roy Middlebrook; nieces and nephews, Malory Magrath, Trissy Magrath, Britney Hammock (Scott), and Christopher Henn (Megan); and children, David Greene and Olaf Curtis Greene.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Curtis and Ruth Youngblood Greene, and sister, Rosemary Middlebrook.

Mr. Greene is a lifelong resident of Troy and an avid Auburn fan. He enjoyed hunting and watching wrestling.

A reception will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at 3:30 p.m. following the service on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
