CHHS routs Rehobeth

Despite the potential for distraction with senior Maori Davenport not being able to play, the Charles Henderson Lady Trojans keep on winning. They knocked off area foe Rehobeth 61-13 on Tuesday evening in Dothan.
The Lady Trojans had three players finish in double figures and six players in all get on the scoreboard.
Samira Moore led all scorers with 22 points, while Niaira Jones added 13 and Tatyana Siler had 12. Kayla Grant finished with eight points, Makala Hobdy had four points and Reece Moore had two.
The Trojans attempted to put the game out of reach in the opening quarter when the shut out the Rebels 16-0. Jones and Siler each scored six points in the quarter, helping the Trojans take a comfortable advantage heading into the second.
16 more Trojan points in the second extended the Trojans lead to 28 at 32-5 heading to the locker room at halftime. Jones led the way for the Trojans in the second quarter with 10 quick points.
The Trojans had their most productive quarter of the night in the third when they scored 20 more points on the back of Moore, who scored 10 of her 22 points.
With the game well in hand, the Trojans scored their final nine points in the fourth quarter and cemented their 48-point win.
The Lady Trojans will be back in action on Friday when they host Carroll.
