Trojans split with Greenville

The Charles Henderson Lady Trojans picked up another area win on Tuesday when they knocked off Greenville 67-30.
The win for the Trojans improves their area record on the season to 4-0.
The Trojans had four players finish in double figures in the win led by senior Tatyana Siler who finished with 14 points. In just her second game back, Maori Davenport finished with 13 points, while Samira Moore had 12. Niaira Jones also finished with 12 points in the win.
The game was lopsided from the start on Tuesday night. The Trojans jumped out to a dominating 26-2 lead heading into the second quarter after Siler scored nine of her 14 points.
Three more scorers got into the act in the second quarter. Kristian Jackson finished with six points in the quarter, while Makayla Hobdy and Kayla Grant also got on the scoreboard.
The Trojans went into the locker room at halftime holding a 46-12 lead.
With many of the starts playing shortened minutes, the Trojans outscored the Tigers in the second half 21-18 to preserve the 37-point win.
Grant finished with eight points, while Jackson finished with six. Hobdy finished with two points.
The Trojan boys concluded the evening with a 61-49 loss to the Tigers. The loss for the Trojans drops them to 3-1 in area play.
Marcus Grant led the way for the Trojans with 18 points, while Terrell Sistrunk finished with 12 and Keith Wheeler had 10.
The Trojans will be back in action on Friday when they travel to take on Carroll.
