Deacon Jessie Starks, age 96, of Brundidge, Alabama passed away peacefully on Feb. 05, 2019 surrounded by loving family members. Funeral services were held on Feb. 08, 2019 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Eloise W. Starks; his grandchild, Jessica M. Pearson; and great-grandchild Jacob E. Baldwin.

He leaves precious memories with his nine children: Ella V. (Clarence) Burrows of New Brockton, AL, Jesse R. (Stephanie) Starks of Huntsville, AL, Frederick L. Starks of Little Rock, AR, Lewiston (Fannie) Starks of Troy, AL, Vinella Starks, Deborah Jones, Marilyn (Rev. Randy) Harvey, Sharron (Thomas) Flowers, and Cynthia (Mitchell) Pearson all of Brundidge, AL, his 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, his brothers, Rev. James Starks of Brooksville, FL, Charlie L. (Eunice) Dunn and John (Ellouise) Pennington of Troy, AL, as well as a host of relatives, church family, and friends.                           

The Starks Family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, telephone calls, visits, food, flowers, cards, donations and other acts of kindness shown during this time of sorrow.
