Huner leads JV Trojans to win over Andalusia

The Charles Henderson junior varsity Trojans knocked off Andalusia 11-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Hogan’s Hole in Troy.
The junior varsity Trojans improved to 3-5 on the year with their win over Andalusia.
Brady Huner got the start for the Trojans. Huner pitched four scoreless innings in the win. He allowed just one hit and struck out seven. Adrian Cardwell also got on the mound for the Trojans and pitched one inning.
Noah Prestwood, Press Jefcoat and Ben Reeves all picked up two hits for the Trojans. Ben Reeves, Bailey Sparrow, Cam Foley, Cardwell, Brady Barron, Dalton Stephens and Cobie Cantlow all had hits.
The Trojans got on the board in the second inning on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Prestwood.
The lead for the Trojans mushroomed to eight runs in the third when the Trojans tallied seven more runs. The Trojans had RBI hits by Barron, Ben Reeves, Prestwood and Jefcoat. Cantlow came around to score on an error and Barron scored on a ground out.
The Trojans closed out their scoring in the fourth inning. Stephens doubled on a fly ball to left to drive in Reeves and Sparrow had a double of his own to score both Stephens and Prestwood.
The Trojans will be back in action on Friday when they travel to take on Brantley in a double header.
