Seven-run inning costs Lady Trojans in loss to Rehobeth

The Charles Henderson Lady Trojans managed three hits in their 13-0 loss at the hands of the Rehobeth Rebels on Tuesday afternoon.
The Trojans allowed the Rebels to score in three different innings, including seven runs in the second inning.
Emma Kirkpatrick got the start and pitched 1.2 innings, allowing nine runs on eight hits. She gave way to Sydni Garrett, who pitched 2.1 innings, allowing four runs, one of which was earned on five hits. She struck out three batters.
Heather Maxwell, Mykyia Milton and McKenzie Cain had the three hits for the Patriots.
Down 2-0 heading into the second, the Trojans allowed seven runs, building their deficit to 9-0. The Rebels had seven hits in the inning, including a grand slam that cleared the center field wall.
The Trojans will return to action on Thursday when they host the Carroll Eagles.
