The Charles Henderson golf team hosted a golf match at the Troy Country Club on Tuesday and took home a second-place finish.

The Trojans finished the tournament with a team score of 317, six strokes behind the match winner Andalusia who fired off a 311. Brantley finished third with a score of 320, Elba finished fourth with a 335 and Opp finished in fifth, one stroke behind Elba with a 336.

Adam Kilpatrick took home first place individually with a score of 71. Charles Henderson’s Griff McCrary finished in fourth after shooting a 75.

Braden Prestwood fired off a 77 and Brax Barron shot a 78. Cody Paramore shot an 87, Bailey Nixon shot a 91 and Grant Baker finished with a 99.

The Trojans will close out the regular season with a home match at the Troy Country Club on Thursday. They will then travel to Mobile on Monday for the sectionals.
