Carol Ann Floyd, 81, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2019, at 11 a.m., at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Troy with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born December 31, 1937, in Troy, Mrs. Floyd was the daughter of the late William Benjamin and Helen Jewel Livingston Jinright. Mrs. Floyd was employed with the A&P Grocery Store as an accountant until its closing. She was employed with the City of Eufaula as Accounts Clerk for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy George Floyd.
Survivors include her children, Lynn (Frank) Gissendanner of Eufaula, Tom (Jane) Floyd of Eufaula, and Amy Floyd of Montgomery; five grandchildren, Mitch (Shannon) Gissendanner, Brandon (Betty) Floyd, Tommy (Nikki) Floyd IV, Kyle Gissendanner, and Britni Floyd; four great-grandchildren, Andrew Floyd, Aeris Floyd, Phoebe Floyd, and Cass Floyd; two brothers, Terry (Kaye) Jinright and Jerry (Bobbie) Jinright, both of Troy.
Active pallbearers will be Kenny Hayes, Clint Warren, Ron Richards, Ross Jinright, Russ Jinright and Jason Warren.
