A victim has died after a multi-vehicle wreck on U.S Highway 231 that injured multiple people Thursday night.

Five people were involved in the wreck , three in one vehicle and two in the other.

One person was airlifted to Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, two were transported to Montgomery and one was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center.

Police have not released any more information at this time and the crash remains under investigation.
