Deacon Johnny L. Starks, 68, a resident of Brundidge, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Independent Holy Church of God with Pastor Charles Collier Sr. officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with More Chapel Funeral home of Brundidge directing.
