Troy students came to the Square by the busload Friday to get a taste of what Troy has to offer.
And that wasn’t just restaurants either; the event also included several boutiques, food delivery services, fitness business and more.
Angela Farmer, owner of Ground Floor Coffee on the Square, said this year’s event was even better than before.
“This year it’s more diverse with business from all across Troy and all kinds of businesses and organizations,” Farmer said. “It’s fun; we love what the city puts on down here on the Square for the businesses. It’s a great advertising event too to let students know we’re down here.”
Layton Stainbrook of Dolce said it was good to be able to interact with so many students.
“IT’s great for us to get our name out there with the students,” Stainbrook said. “With the size of our shop, it’s hard to get the word out about us on campus, so it’s nice to have all of the students come here to see what we do.”
