A Brundidge home was destroyed late Thursday night in a fire.

The fire started at approximately 11 p.m. although officials do not know yet where the fire began and how it started.

Brundidge Fire Chief Glen Adkins said there were occupants in the home when the fire began, but all got out of the home safely and uninjured. Brundidge Fire was able to extinguish the blaze, but the home was destroyed in the process.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
