The Pike County Chamber of Commerce 2020 State of the Chamber Banquet will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 20 at Cattlemen Park.

A highlight of the annual banquet is the presentation of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards. Nominations for those prestigious awards are now open, said Dana Sanders, Pike County Chamber of Commerce president.

“The Pike County Chamber of Commerce Annual Excellence Awards celebrate and recognize business and organization excellence in Pike County,” Sanders said. “The awards acknowledge the accomplishments of Chamber members and the contributions they make to our countywide economy and quality of life.”

The nominations are made by Chamber peers throughout the county.

“The awards are open to Chamber members only and are presented in eight categories. The nominees will be judged in four areas: Community involvement, Chamber participation, business/organization success, and overall deservedness.

Chamber members are not eligible to win in the same category won in the past two years. Nominations are open through March 28.
