Troy is under a marginal risk for severe weather today.

“Based on the forecast, we can expect 100% chance of rain throughout the day and a chance of some severe weather,” said Herbert Reeves, Pike County EMA director. “While the forecast is not as concerning as the past two weeks, please remain Weather Aware throughout the day.”

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Birmingham said the storms were weakening and shifting southward as they passed through Mississippi early Wednesday.
