All but one of the six local teams will be in action on Friday night, with Pike Liberal Arts facing a cancellation after their opponent showed COVID-19 concerns. The Troy Trojans will also begin their season on Saturday afternoon.

Pike County, Goshen, Zion Chapel, Ariton, and Charles Henderson will all get on the field Friday night with three home games and two away games.

Troy will be on the road as they take on Middle Tennessee to start their season. This became their first game after ULM postponed their first matchup, which was scheduled for last week, amid Covid-19 concerns.

After a dominating 60-14 win against region rival Dadeville last week, the Pike County Bulldogs hope to take their record to 2-0 when they face 3-1 Trinity on the road this week.

After facing two hard losses to Trinity and Childersburg, the 0-2 Goshen Eagles hope for an early rebound when they face 2-2 Reeltown at home in Goshen. 

The Zion Chapel Rebels are in need of a win after a 0-3 start to their season. They take on 0-4 Houston County at home in Enterprise.

The 2-2 Ariton Purple Cats fell 54-41 against Geneva County last week, and have already faced highs and lows in their early season. They face 2-0 G.W. Long on the road this week.

The 0-2 Charles Henderson Trojans look to capture their first victory this week as they face 1-3 Andalusia this week at home in Troy.
