The Charles Henderson Trojans, hungry for their first win of the season, travel to Ozark to take on Carroll on Friday night.
The Trojans have struggled to pick up a win this season. They come into Friday night’s game winless at 0-6. The Trojans are 0-4 in region play.
The Trojans are coming off a 29-14 loss at the hands of region foe Rehobeth last Thursday night. Quarterback Cam Foley finished the game completing five of his 10 passes for 78 yards, while backup quarterback Jywon Boyd completed four of his 10 passes for 54 yards and had two touchdowns.
Charles Henderson’s 14 points last Thursday night snapped a two-game scoreless streak for the Trojans. The 14 points scored was the most by the Trojans all season. The Trojans defense held their opponent to under 30 points for the third time this season when they held the Rebels to 29 points.
The Eagles (3-3, 3-1) enter the game with an eye on a playoff spot. Their 3-1 mark is good enough for a tie for second place with Andalusia. They are both chasing top-seeded Pike Road who is undefeated on the season at 8-0.
Carroll, coming off their bye week, defeated Greenville 27-21 in overtime. The Eagles offense has scored 21 points per game this season, while their defense has allowed 34.
The Trojans knocked off Carroll last season 28-18 inside Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
