Walmart Distribution Center #7019 recently donated some goody bags to the Brundidge Police Department and the Brundidge Volunteer Fire Department. Walmart Asset Protection Manager Brian Crowe said he and General Manager Steve Skelton wanted to do something to show their appreciation to the first responders who served the community of Brundidge. Crowe said the bags contained non-perishable items that first responders can use during the holiday season. Crowe said he appreciated the police and fire departments for having responded to the distribution center when they are needed.
Brundidge Police chief Sam Green said he is proud to serve the community and showed his gratitude to the VFD. Green said the police and fire departments work well together to serve the community of Brundidge. Green said he wanted to thank Crowe, Skelton and the rest of the Walmart DC employees for spreading some positive holiday cheer.
