Charles Henderson throttles Andalusia

The Charles Henderson Trojans thumped the Andalusia Bulldogs on Tuesday by a score of 71-41.
The win marked the Trojans’ first since the Downtown Hoops Classic last week. CHHS jumped out to a 25-11 lead in the first quarter and then turned on the gas in the second quarter to take a 52-20 lead at halftime. CHHS led 64-37 going into the fourth quarter where a running clock was used.
Jywon Boyd led the Trojans with 22 points in the win, with all 22 points in the first half. Bray Jones added 12 points and Tyler Cross scored 11 points for CHHS.
The Charles Henderson girls fell to Andalusia 38-35 on Tuesday in a heartbreaker.
The Zion Chapel Rebels also picked up a 68-47 win over Wicksburg on Tuesday. Jacob Chestnut exploded to score 30 points in the win, along with three rebounds and two steals. Slade Grantham added 20 points, seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a blocked shot. Cameron Arnett and Hayden Speckert both grabbed six rebounds each.
The Zion Chapel Lady Rebels fell 51-19 against Wicksburg.
