Troy University has completed its contracts for the current round of Alabama State Council on the Arts grants.

Leigh Ann Paramore, director of sponsored programs, said the grant awards are greatly appreciated and enhance and extend the arts programs and opportunities.at the university.

The ASCA awards to Troy University total $15,800 in support of four areas of the university’s arts program.

The awards were Carrie Jaxon, International Arts Center, $3,300 for the Junior Warriors Children’s Art Program; Dr. Kelly Berwager, CCFA and Clint Free, Common Ground ‘Diversity Through Art Program,’ $5, 700; Kyle Gassiott, Michelle Mowery and Austin Toy, “Alabama Aloud,”, Podcast Season 2, $5,100 and Tori Averett, CCFA, $1,700 for Summer Spotlight 2024.
