Former Charles Henderson softball star Stella Gilbreath took center stage as she helped Tennessee Southern pick up an 8-4 win over previously undefeated Stillman College on March 10.

Gilbreath was dominant both at the plate as a hitter and in the circle as a pitcher. She went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of home runs, three RBIs and two runs. As a pitcher, Gilbreath struck out four batters and gave up 10 hits with just one earned run in seven innings pitched.

So far this season, Gilbreath holds a 3-3 record as a starter pitcher and has struck out 23 batters, while holding a 3.32 ERA in 46 and 1/3 innings pitched. As a hitter, she holds a 2.83 batting average with four home runs, three doubles, 12 RBIs and a .533 slugging percentage.
