On Monday, the Ariton Purple Cats (8-4) picked up a 14-6 win over Class 7A Dothan.

Caden Collier led Ariton at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs, while Jessie Pelham went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Lawson Leger went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run. Myles Tyler also went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.

Ian Senn got the win on the mound, striking out four batters and giving up six hits and five earned runs in five innings pitched.

The Pike County Bulldogs lost 13-9 to Greenville on Monday. Mark Griffin and Jakori Green scored two runs for the Bulldogs, while Jam Burney, Michael Gabel, Omari Barrow, Britt Albritton, Ben Patterson scored one run each.

Barrow struck out eight batters and gave up two hits and one earned run in four innings pitched for the Dawgs.
